Roleystone Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service is a vital part of the local community. Founded in 1957, the Brigade was initially formed as a Bush Fire Brigade (BFB) and in recent times has extended to the Fire and Rescue Service (FRS).
The VFRS has the capacity to combat numerous incidents including bush fires, structural fires, vehicle fires, traffic accidents and HAZMAT incidents. The Brigade supports the community with active community engagement and mitigation programs.
Volunteers. We are ordinary people living and working amongst our community. Our love for where we live goes one step further and help to protect the place we all call home.
Roleystone VFRS has a rich history of our community engagement program with its education amongst members of the wider community.
